Look at Those Legs!

So the day has finally arrived (well actually it arrived about 13 weeks ago) but I’m thrilled to share with you all that I’m having a baby!!  Regardless of the headaches, hemorrhoids, heaving and hallucination-like dreams I’ve been having,  I’ve never been happier in my whole life.   I’m starting to show (may be pushing out my belly a bit) and delighted to be building a pregnancy wardrobe (the best news is that The Limited has a ton of fab knits this season and I’ll be decked out the entire 9 months).   Still a bit too early to tell if it’s a boy or a girl but as you can see from the sonogram…the kid has gams!!    I’m pretty much consumed by this whole thing so expect me to be sharing TMI over the weeks and months to come.  I feel like my beloved Nana had a lot to do with this whole thing (not literally) and her maiden name is Fairchild—how perfect is that?

That’s going to be the baby’s official middle name.  Unofficially the baby is called Meep!   If you have any other baby name suggestions, all ears!

    Congratulations, Nicole! You should later write a book called “Mom on Top” or something like that–I can totally see how that could be read inappropriately, but I hope you know what I mean!

    Meep is ADORABLE!!!!!! I can’t wait to officially meet her/him, I’m hoping for her to spoil her rotten.
