Launch party success
So I’m trying to ride the line between actually experiencing our tour events and writing about them and obviously sucking at it! So here we are to-date and I promise to get on it in a more timely manner for our events to come.
NY Launch Event:
The night we drove up and I saw the signs in the window and the crowd around the corner, I really did have a “pinch me” moment. It’s been a long and hard road since the divorce and my life in Vancouver and now living in NYC and starting again with a new book – kinda surreal. Even though the book had hit the shelves on Monday, this was the first time I was able to thank all the people who had supported this coming to life and made it all so much more real! I was surprisingly sad to not have any family with me. I had this dream that somehow my brother would show up, but we had Andrew Clendinneng representin’ the home town of Ajax. The Limited store itself looked AMAZING and they’ve decided to stay open through December and we’re even talking about another event – will keep you posted. Learned on this night that we’re into a re-print – YIIPPEE!

Andrew Clendinneng and me - who knew we'd both end up here!

Thanks to everyone who stood outside in the rain!

Tried my hair a little differently - waaayyy high. Talking with my hands as always.
